Request a demolition site visit in Gahanna or the Columbus area
Every demolition job is priced after someone looks at it in person. The fastest way to get there is a clear first message: where the property is, what has to come down, and what it looks like today. What to include in your first message
- The street address, or at least the city and nearest cross street.
- What needs to come down: a whole house, a detached garage, a pool, a kitchen or bath, a driveway or patio, or some combination.
- Anything that has to stay, such as a tree, a fence line, part of a driveway or a neighboring wall.
- Whether the building has a basement, and roughly when it was built if you know.
- Four to six photos: the structure from a couple of angles, the route a truck would take, and anything tight or tricky.
- Your timing, and whether a sale, a builder or a personal deadline is driving it.

What happens after you send it
The contractor may reply with a few questions first, such as whether the utilities are still on or whether anyone has had the building checked for asbestos. Then comes the site visit, where the structure is measured, access is checked and the scope is talked through. After that you receive a written proposal with the price, the steps and the condition the lot or room will be left in. You decide whether to go ahead. Sending a request does not commit you to anything.
